Lis Wihl (born on 19 August 1961) was an American lawyer and author who worked for Fox News.
She is currently an adjunct law professor of law at New York Law School. Before that she was an associate professor of University of Washington Law School. She was a legal commentator on Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factual as well as National Public Radio. She appeared weekly on The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File featuring Megyn Kelly and Lou Dobbs Tonight. the Imus morning show and is the host of The Legal Lis radio show. Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl completed her studies at West Valley High School, Yakima. She was born in Yakima. She graduated from Barnard College with a Bachelor's degree at the age of 33 in. In 1985, she was awarded her master of Arts Degree in Literature at the University of Queensland. And in 1987, she received a Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl was a prosecutor in the past at The US Attorney. She was the legal correspondent for NPR All Things Considered. She served as "the assistant chief investigator of Democrats within the House Judiciary Committee at the moment of Clinton's impeachment." She was a tenured professor in laws at the University of Washington School of Law, Seattle from 1995-2001 She also directed the Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl was an analyst for Fox News legal analyst from 2001 to 2017.
