Katherine Jean Bolduan, also called her professional name Kate Bolduan, is an American journalist. She is best known as the anchor of the CNN morning show At This Hour. Bolduan was previously a co-host for the CNN weekday Morning Programs New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan is also part of CNN's prestigious presidential election coverage from 2012. Her previous experience includes working as an Washington DC based correspondent, reporting on both the US House and Senate. Bolduan's coverage of congressional events and events during her time as an official of the Capitol Hill Unit included the discussion to increase the debt ceiling for the US and deliberations by the super-committee. Additionally, she was a general assignment correspondent covering events like the 2009 Christmas Day bombing attempt the landmark Supreme Court decision on Obamacare and the implementation of the government s stimulus plan in 2009.
