Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding - born Elena Jane Goulding (30 December 1986) in Hereford (England), is an English singer/songwriter. Ellie Goulding rose quickly to the top of the charts with her electro pop sound after capturing the public's attention by releasing "Starry Eyed,"" and "Guns and Horses" in 2010. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has been at the cutting edge, like Kate Bush and Imogen Sheap, of mainstream contemporary music, and independent, hip-hop that is arty. Her soprano voice as well as her talent for writing emotional songs are what make her unique. Polydor Records offered her a deal with major label. She began to prepare for her release.
